On September 28, 2026, the launch ceremony of XJTU’s "Siyuan Pilot - Industrial Innovation Leadership Talent Program" and the opening of the Siyuan Pilot Innovation Workshop were held at Building 3, Caojiatan Smart Electrical Innovation Center, Western China Innovation Harbour.

Attendees included Bie Zhaohong, Executive Vice President of Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xing Xiaoqiang, Secretary-General of the Education Foundation, Liang Deliang, Party Secretary, Yang Xu, Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, Wang Xiaohua, Dean of the School of Future Technology, together with faculty and student representatives. Bai Xiaoqing, Chairman of Actionpower, Li Haibo, Deputy Chief Engineer, Liu Boli, R&D Director of Special Equipment Power Supplies, Shao Manyuan, Admin & HR Director, and other Actionpower representatives also attended.

At the ceremony, Executive Vice President Bie Zhaohong and Chairman Bai Xiaoqing delivered speeches successively. They shared insights on technological innovation, industry-university-research collaboration and high-level innovative talent development, charting the path for joint talent training and R&D breakthroughs.

Dean Wang Xiaohua unveiled the "Siyuan Pilot - Industrial Innovation Leadership Talent Program". Supported by the Su Yanmin Education Fund of XJTU, the program is dedicated to cultivating industrial innovation leaders, with one-stop services offered by the Siyuan Pilot Innovation Workshop.

Then, Executive Vice President Bie Zhaohong, Dean Wang Xiaohua, Secretary-General Xing Xiaoqiang, together with fund donor representatives Shen Chuanwen, Lu Jialin and Bai Xiaoqing, unveiled the Siyuan Pilot Innovation Workshop.

Party Secretary Liang Deliang, Dean Yang Xu, Chairman Bai Xiaoqing and Deputy Chief Engineer Li Haibo unveiled the Caojiatan Innovation Lab of XJTU‑Actionpower Advanced Power Electronic Equipment Research Center, marking its official launch.

The Caojiatan Innovation Lab is an independent R&D platform under the XJTU‑Actionpower Advanced Power Electronic Equipment Research Center. Funded by a 10‑million‑yuan special investment from Actionpower, it is located in Building 3 of the Caojiatan Smart Electrical Innovation Center at Western China Innovation Harbour, covering an area of 1,100 m².

The lab is equipped with nearly 50 R&D workstations and 27 professional test stations, alongside offices, meeting rooms and shared lounges. A full suite of advanced power electronic test instruments is available to support the R&D of various medium‑and‑low‑power power electronic equipment.

Its opening greatly expands the space and testing capacity of the joint research center, laying a solid hardware foundation for high‑level industry-university-research collaboration.

The Caojiatan Innovation Lab also supports the operation of XJTU’s Siyuan Pilot Innovation Workshop. It delivers one-stop R&D and implementation services for student innovation projects under the "Siyuan Pilot - Industrial Innovation Leadership Talent Program". Serving as a critical link connecting university research achievements with industrial resources and capital, it fully supports the cultivation of innovation leaders.

On September 28, 2023, exactly three years ago, Actionpower was listed on the STAR Market of the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Three years later on the same date, the Caojiatan Innovation Lab was unveiled, marking a new, deeper stage of the industry-university-research partnership.

From this new starting point, Actionpower will keep supporting the incubation and commercialization of university research outputs, innovate cooperation models, bridge academic research and industrial application, and fuel China’s technological leadership in advanced power electronic equipment.
